Everything here is built for one thing: the work. Art is slow and it does not go in a straight line. A tool can take an hour off that, or hand a piece a start it did not have.
artGlobal is an independent study at NYU Collaborative Arts: a series of small tools for artists, each one built to push on a single subject, craft or idea until something new falls out of it.
Every tool is made to be used rather than looked at. They are meant to clash with one another — the frame is what holds them together.
